The House Has Taken a Lover

THE CAST

An heirloom wisteria vine, carried from England aboard a ship, forms the composition’s twisting architecture—a living inheritance whose journey continues in every curve. Scarlet bougainvillea climbs its weathered limbs with reckless intensity, while burgundy amaranthus descends in long, sumptuous strands. Crimson dahlias punctuate the entanglement with moments of concentrated desire; silver brunia introduces a cool, almost spectral restraint. Held in an antique brass urn, these materials cast a study in passage and possession: what crosses oceans, what takes root, and what refuses to let go.
