Effective 17 June 2026

This notice explains what information Lovely Coven collects when you visit lovelycoven.com or commission work from the studio, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep only what the work requires, and we do not sell it.

I

Who we are

Lovely Coven is a bespoke floral atelier operating as Lovely Coven LLC, directed by Brandon Joseph in San Francisco, California. For any question about this notice or your information, write to brandon@lovelycovenfloral.com.

II

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the inquiry or booking form, join the Floral Dispatch, or commission an arrangement, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, delivery details, and notes about the occasion or the recipient. The gifting intake (A Portrait in Bloom) collects only what you choose to share.

Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe and Venmo. Card numbers are entered with the payment processor directly — the studio never sees or stores your full card details. We retain a record of the transaction (amount, date, what it was for) for our books.

Information collected automatically. Like most sites, lovelycoven.com records basic technical data through analytics and server logs — pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and referring links — to understand how the site is used.

III

The tools behind the site

We rely on a small set of trusted services to run the studio. Each receives only the information it needs to do its part, and each maintains its own privacy practices:

  • Stripe and Venmo — payment processing
  • Resend — sending the Floral Dispatch and transactional email
  • Google — site analytics and mapping (Places API)
  • Yelp — displaying and linking reviews
  • AI providers (including Anthropic) — assisting with drafted replies and copy; see our AI Disclosure
IV

How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and prepare proposals
  • To fulfill, deliver, and document a commission
  • To process payments and keep accurate financial records
  • To send the Floral Dispatch and studio updates, when you have asked to receive them
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the website
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
V

Email & the Floral Dispatch

We send email only to people who have asked to hear from us or who are working with the studio. Every Floral Dispatch carries an unsubscribe link, and you can step away at any time by writing to us. We do not share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.

VI

Cookies & analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and to measure traffic in aggregate. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; the site will still work, though some conveniences may not. Analytics tells us how the site is found and used — never who you are by name.

VII

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not trade it. We share information only with the service providers listed above so they can perform their function, or where the law requires it — for example, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights and safety of the studio and its clients.

VIII

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy our legal and accounting duties — financial records, for instance, are held as tax law requires. When information is no longer needed, we remove it.

IX

Your choices

You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may unsubscribe from email at any time. Write to brandon@lovelycovenfloral.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We extend these choices to everyone who contacts us, whether or not a particular privacy law requires it of a studio our size.

X

Children

The website and the studio’s services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

XI

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information in our care and work only with established processors. No method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure, so while we guard your information diligently, we cannot promise absolute security.

XII

Changes to this notice

As the studio grows, this notice may change. When it does, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version here. Material changes will be made clear.
